Seeing Exercise
“This work is a short video piece split into two parts. In the first half of the film, the recording referenced elements in the video that were not noticed during the shooting, making the viewer aware of the difference between the subjective vision of the filmer and the objective vision of the camera. The second half was a 50-second black-and-white silent film that presented a visual world reminiscent of a Lumière film. This work was created with the goal of encouraging the discovery of new visual experiences through active viewing by the viewer.
