-ある場所を訪れ、感じ、考え、テキスト、写真、映像、音響によって変換し、表し、語り合う。それらが重なり混じり合う空間の中でまた「場所」が生まれ、わたしたちの「感覚」も変容していく- 本プロジェクトは、センサリー?メディアとしての映像、音響表現による「場所」の表象を多角的に捉え直し、あらたな芸術表現の可能性を探っています。アート、映像、音響、人類学、思想…様々な領域にまたがる研究者、制作者をゲストに迎えレクチャーやワークショップ、展覧会を開催しています。 本年度は3つのフィールドワークを行い、プロジェクト活動を通して得られた知見を踏まえながら各メンバーによる作品制作を行いました。
Visiting a place, feeling, and thinking. Transforming that experience into text, photos, videos, sounds, and expressing it, talking about it. That piles up, and blends together in a space to birth once more a “place,” and our “senses” also transform. In this project we reconsider multilaterally the representation of a “place” based on visual and acoustic expression as sensory media, and in doing so we are searching for the possibility of new artistic expressions. Researchers expanding across a variety of fields; art, video, sound, anthropology, and philosophy come together and hold lectures, workshops, and exhibitions with the creators as guests. This fiscal year we held three fieldworks, and based on the knowledge which was acquired through the project’s activities, each member created a piece of artwork.
