Each project has predetermined meetings as a foundation, and furthermore, sometimes the individual will progress their research. The results of the research are set to be presented in ways such as at academic and research conferences, academic exchange activities, exhibitions at domestic and international exhibits, and at the Open House event that IAMAS manages.

Activities that span across a variety of fields are planned as projects. Since these projects serve the crucial function of providing a framework for students’ graduate research, it is crucial that they come across a project that they can receive guidance for which follows along their desired research theme. Please take this college course once you aptly understand the structure and positioning of the projects. From hereon, we will outline the projects that everyone can take on and participate in. Please note that you will only receive credits from the projects amongst these that have “targeted for study” written by them.
Concerning all of the projects which can be taken on, they are published in the syllabus. All students will at first take on at least one of these projects.
Amongst these projects, there are projects that have activities to “invite new students within a time limit.” This occurs when for example, the schedule of off-campus activities is unconfirmed or when based on the state of coordination with enterprises we are collaborating with the contents of activities changes, etc.. These are activities not included in the course of study because they cannot be guaranteed to be sufficient as a class. When the project is ready to be held it will be made well known through some methods, so if there is any desirable activity it is advised to participate.
At the present stage, projects not targeted for study for the purpose of credits which have their activities decided are termed “participation-style projects.” However, you will be participating in these projects alongside the projects targeted for study, so there is a necessity to consider the workload you undertake and your schedule. Always consult with your supervisor prior to taking on a project and please confirm how you will be involved.
